We pulled every dispensary Google lists across Massachusetts, kept the 176 that are open and licensed, and ranked them on a rating weighted by how many people actually left one. Top of the list is Cookies Somerville Dispensary at 5.0 stars.
Star averages on their own reward shops nobody has been to. A 4.9 from 340 people is a weaker claim than a 4.8 from 7,000, so every rating here is pulled toward the Massachusetts average in proportion to how few reviews sit behind it.

Every Massachusetts city we found licensed shops in, with how many are on the list.
Because a star average hides how many people stood behind it. Every shop's rating is shrunk toward the Massachusetts mean in proportion to its review count, so a shop needs both a high score and real volume to reach the top. The weighted figure is printed on every entry next to the raw one.
Google Maps, pulled fresh and filtered to shops that are open, licensed and listed under a cannabis category. Anything permanently or temporarily closed is dropped, as is anything that turned up in the search but sits outside Massachusetts.
Because we have not read them yet. Menu data lives behind each shop's ordering platform and licence numbers live on the state register, and neither is published here until it has been pulled from the source rather than guessed.
