This site lists licensed cannabis retailers. You need to be 21 or over, or 18 and over with a valid medical cannabis card where your state allows it.
We pulled every dispensary Google lists across California, kept the 440 that are open and licensed, and ranked them on a rating weighted by how many people actually left one. Top of the list is Cookies San Bernardino Dispensary at 5.0 stars.
Star averages on their own reward shops nobody has been to. A 4.9 from 340 people is a weaker claim than a 4.8 from 7,000, so every rating here is pulled toward the California average in proportion to how few reviews sit behind it.

Because a star average hides how many people stood behind it. Every shop's rating is shrunk toward the California mean in proportion to its review count, so a shop needs both a high score and real volume to reach the top. The weighted figure is printed on every entry next to the raw one.
Google Maps, pulled fresh and filtered to shops that are open, licensed and listed under a cannabis category. Anything permanently or temporarily closed is dropped, as is anything that turned up in the search but sits outside California.
Because we have not read them yet. Menu data lives behind each shop's ordering platform and licence numbers live on the state register, and neither is published here until it has been pulled from the source rather than guessed.
